Named in honour of Cobourg’s birthday, Circa 1818 combines the love for a hometown with a passion for cannabis that everyone is excited to share with friends, neighbours and day trippers alike. It’s a specially curated cannabis experience that rolls everything remarkable about the unique town together and takes the greatest moments in life even higher. 

Taking cues from the history of the region the name brings in a heritage element and a nod to the legacy of Cobourg while the identity pays tribute to the city through the white rose that is being held by two lions in the coat of arms. The brand is approachable, authentic and passionate showing historic importance and community pride. 

This project involved, a brand identity, temporary website, in-store graphics & signage, exterior wall graphics & signage, store merchandise and consulted on the development and construction of the store including the creation of a living wall.
